As a Registered Holistic Nutritional Consultant™ (R.H.N.), I have a unique understanding of the body’s requirements to thrive. I have chosen to specialize in nutrition for pregnant and breastfeeding women because I firmly believe nourishing your body during those first 9 months of growth gives your baby a solid foundation to begin life. However, it doesn’t stop there; properly feeding your body postpartum and during breastfeeding is also essential for your health and wellness, and your baby’s.
As a mother to an active, healthy little boy, and currently expecting my second child in June 2019, I understand the concerns and confusion pregnant and breastfeeding women can encounter with respect to what foods they should and shouldn’t eat. When I was pregnant, I realized there isn’t much support for women seeking information regarding nutritional requirements. I was able to use my education to help me make the best choices for my growing baby and to help limit the chance of being completely depleted once he was born. From that point on, I knew I needed to help women and share my knowledge of how they can feed themselves to support their own bodies and their baby’s body throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding.
